Enjoy each step and savor the journey.” Sourdough baking is as rewarding as it is challenging, however, every loaf you bake gives you experience and knowledge that carries over into the next. Parker Cook has worked professionally in food for nearly 10 years including 5 years as a Research & Development Chef, Food Safety Specialist and 3 years as the owner/operator of Basil & Bloom, Southeastern Idaho’s premier sourdough pizzeria. He’s served over 10,000 sourdough pizzas and sold thousands of crusty, sourdough loaves of bread.
Lord Souron is Parker’s The Lord of the Rings-themed starter. He began in Parker’s kitchen 6 years ago and has spread far and wide (in dehydrated form) to thousands of homes across the globe.
